Sustainability

At Orae, we're not just passionate about yoga—but also about creating a better world. Following on with the philosophy of yoga, we believe in being consciously aware of the impact we have on our surroundings. We are committed to creating a positive impact on both the environment and society, and our sustainability promise isn't just about trendy buzzwords. It's about embodying the values of a new generation—one that values conscious living and environmental conservation.

Embracing Sustainable Practices

Natural & Recyclable Materials

At Orae, functionality and sustainability are the heart of our products. We carefully select materials like cork and rubber for our yoga mats and props, valuing their performance and remarkable eco-friendly properties. Cork, harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, is one of nature's most sustainable resources. Rubber, derived from latex sap, is equally sustainable.

Moreover, harvesting cork promotes tree health and its surrounding ecosystem, absorbing up to five times more carbon dioxide (CO2) during regrowth.

By choosing Orae, you invest in quality and a brighter future where sustainability is the standard.

Ethical Manufacturing

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the products themselves. We believe in walking the walk—partnering with manufacturers who share our values and prioritize ethical practices. From fair wages to safe working conditions to minimizing waste and energy consumption, we hold ourselves and our partners to the highest standards. Because we believe that sustainability isn't just a checkbox; it's a commitment to doing better, every step of the way.

Mindful Packaging & Operations

We're conscious of every choice we make—from production to delivery, including packaging. Our packaging materials are carefully selected to be both recycled and recyclable, ensuring that they can be repurposed rather than ending up in landfills. By minimizing waste and eliminating single-use plastics (apart from the packaging tape), we're not just reducing our environmental impact; we're setting a new standard for conscious consumerism.
