Orae Lifetime Warranty – Cork Yoga Mats

At Orae, we take pride in crafting premium cork yoga mats that are durable, sustainable, and built to support your practice for years to come. To honor this commitment, we offer a Lifetime Warranty exclusively on our Cork Yoga Mats, subject to the terms below.

Our warranty protects you against genuine product defects — while staying true to our environment-first philosophy: repair before replace, minimize waste, and avoid unnecessary consumerism. Please note that cork is a natural, handmade material; minor imperfections and slight particle shedding are normal and part of its unique character.

✅ What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that affect performance.
  • Delamination of the cork layer (separating from the base layer) not caused by mishandling, abnormal moisture exposure, or improper storage.
  • Abnormal cracking or disintegration of cork within expected product life, despite following the care guide.
  • Structural defects in stitching, binding, or finishing.
  • Significant manufacturing faults (uneven thickness, poor adhesion, or base material failure).
  • Defects present at the time of delivery (if reported within 7 days of receipt).

🚫 What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (fading, surface marks, discoloration, softening, or small cracks/pinholes) – these are normal with handmade, natural products.
  • Minor cork particle shedding or surface changes that do not affect usability – this may be expected over time depending on usage conditions, but it does not affect functionality.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the Care Guide (provided in print and/or digitally via WhatsApp).
  • Abnormally long exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or damp storage conditions.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, detergents, extreme heat, or pets.
  • Cuts, burns, abrasions, accidents, or damage from sharp objects.
  • Mats purchased from unauthorized sellers or resellers.

⚖️ Warranty Process

1. Initial Collection & Evaluation

Orae will arrange collection of the mat (where serviceable). If your location is not serviceable, you may courier the mat to us; logistics costs may be reimbursed or adjusted. Our team inspects the mat to determine repair vs. replacement eligibility.

2. Repair-First Policy

If repair is possible, we will repair and return the mat. Only one-way logistics cost (return to you) will be charged.

3. Replacement (if repair is not possible)

If the mat cannot be repaired, a replacement will be sent. In this case, the customer bears the two-way logistics cost (collection of the old mat and shipping of the replacement). Replacement will only be processed after the original mat is received and responsibly recycled. Replacements are provided on a like-for-like basis (same or closest available model/variant).

Our mats are made with natural materials and built to last. We consciously avoid wasteful consumerism and encourage repair before replacement. Repairs are performed using safe, sustainable methods whenever possible.

We rely on our community to handle their mats with care, following the guidelines provided, to maximize product life and reduce unnecessary claims.

📌 Important Notes

  • The warranty is valid for the lifetime of the product, not the customer’s lifetime.
  • Applies only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and cannot be claimed by secondary buyers.
  • Multiple replacements for the same purchase are not allowed.
  • Orae reserves the right to deny warranty claims where misuse, neglect, or abuse is evident.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and may vary based on customer location.
